Returned from a 3 day hike on the eastern section of the Footpath, got out at Mccumber Brook , due to the pending Hurricane. Don<t think aluminum tent poles would have secured me from falling tree tops or limbs. Now safe at home. Met a few dedicated multi day hikers, and a young couple from US of A who described the trail as rugged, also a group from Gagetown. Lots of hikers this year, still awesome views and diversity of flora.
Lots of erosion at Dustin Brook due to wash out .

I was thinking more of an outline of a foot… It would look like a trail sketch leading in at the toes and out at the heel of a partial foot design.  The toes would represent the  ups and downs in and out of the many valleys and the inside curve would be that of the coast lines…

How about a sine wave representing the trail.... Joking but not far off the truth.

Has anyone tried using the McCumber brook access? I've gone there 5 times this summer and had no issues. Almost made it all the way in my Jetta TDI.

Hoping to hike the Fundy Footpath in its entirety this upcoming week and was wondering if another group would like to:
a) work out a carpool with us, we're flexible and can work out the details; or
b) split the cost of the Adair Lodge shuttle ($220 for up to 4 people) to get us back to our cars.
Hope to start the hike on Tuesday/Wednesday but again, we're flexible. Totally cool with hiking in separate groups, we just want to have a way back to our car!
Let us know if you're interested, or if you can recommend any good restaurants/breweries in the area. =}
Best,
-Sean and Jess

Hi Trail users and builders,
